As an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse, I am responsible for direct patient care with the guidance and supervision of a registered nurse (RN), including medication administration, clinical assessments, and clinical documentation and reports. I assist patients with daily activities, conduct clinical evaluations and monitoring, and contribute to developing care plans while fostering their independence and dignity. I maintain a compassionate and secure care environment, strictly adhering to safety standards and infection control protocols. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, I strive to deliver holistic and person-centred care, meeting both their physical and emotional needs in a professional and ethical manner, following the standards laid out by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
