Summary

I am employed by VACC as an apprentice light vehicle mechanic

I have always wanted a career that gave me the ability to be hands on, and being a Mechanic is what I want to become.

I am very eager to learn all the aspects of how a vehicle works and know how to fix it.

I would love to be able to fix any car and also work on diesel motors, working at Hyundai and Toyota, I have not had the opportunity to do this as they really only fix their own brand of cars.

I like working along side someone that is willing to teach me as we work on the vehicle together, and once I am proficient in what I have been taught I am also able to work on my own

I have been doing services and schedule maintenance for Toyota and then having an experience Mechanic look over my work with no issues

I find it very challenging and rewarding when I resolve an issue with a vehicle

I love to spend my weekends fishing and camping and do not smoke of drink

Work History

Apprentice Mechanic

VACC / HYUNDAI / TOYOTA
Lilydale And Healesville , VIC
2022.12 - 2024.06

I started my apprenticeship in Dec 2022 with Hyundai in Lilydale

While working at Hyundai , I received a phone call from Toyota Healesville to see if I wanted to continue my apprenticeship with them because I had done my school based work experience there in Year 10.

I accepted to offer and started with Toyota in March 2023 because it was close to home as I live in Healesville, and did not have my license.

I have since acquired my License and are looking for a workshop that works on other vehicles as both Hyundai and Toyota seem to only take in there own brands
