I started my apprenticeship in Dec 2022 with Hyundai in Lilydale

While working at Hyundai , I received a phone call from Toyota Healesville to see if I wanted to continue my apprenticeship with them because I had done my school based work experience there in Year 10.

I accepted to offer and started with Toyota in March 2023 because it was close to home as I live in Healesville, and did not have my license.

I have since acquired my License and are looking for a workshop that works on other vehicles as both Hyundai and Toyota seem to only take in there own brands

• Answered technical questions about automotive repair from customers in person or over the phone.
• Maintained a professional attitude towards customers at all times.
• Assisted with more complex repairs including engine overhauls, transmission replacements, suspension work, and electrical system diagnostics.
• Kept up-to-date on new technologies by attending training sessions at dealerships or auto shows.
• Performed basic maintenance and repair services on vehicles such as changing oil, replacing air filters, rotating tires, and inspecting brakes.
• Cleaned shop area daily to maintain a safe working environment.
• Diagnosed vehicle problems using computerized diagnostic equipment to pinpoint faults and malfunctions.
• Consulted with experienced mechanics for advice on difficult jobs.
• Repaired or replaced parts such as alternators, starters, water pumps, radiators, fuel pumps, ignition coils, and spark plugs.
