• schedule maintenance and repairs on 2.5t to 30t forklifts as well as a range of other machinery including mini excavators, skid steers, kanga diggers, and a range of plant machinery

• Hydraulic repairs including making and replacing lines and diagnosing basic hydraulic systems

• working a 24hr on call roster attending breakdowns and repairs within plants

• Repairing and re-gassing aircon systems

• Following take 5, lockout and plant sign on safety procedures

• Carry out schedule routine maintenance.
• Repairs on engine, transmission, electrical, drive line, brake and tyre systems.
• Specialising in Toyota, Ford and Hyundai, with knowledge on a range of other manufactures.
• Experience with re-gassing, servicing and diagnosing faults in vehicle air conditioning systems.
• Carrying out wheel alignments, tyre fitting and balancing.
• Completing repair orders and job safety analysis.
• Following safety procedures and using correct PPE when required.
• Using scan tools and relevant repair manuals to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
• Major servicing on station and fleet vehicles.
• Inspect completed repairs and carry out test drives to rectify issues.
