Jessica Cassar

Passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher committed to creating a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment where every child feels a strong sense of belonging, identity, and agency. I believe every child is capable, curious, and an active participant in their learning journey, with individual strengths, interests, and ways of learning. My teaching practice is guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), with a strong focus on play-based learning, child-led experiences, exploration, inquiry, and reflection.

I value building respectful relationships with children and families and creating learning experiences that reflect children’s interests, cultures, family traditions, and communities. I strive to support each child’s development by providing meaningful choices and opportunities to express themselves, develop independence, and become confident and motivated learners. My practice is informed by early childhood theories and approaches including Vygotsky, Piaget, Bronfenbrenner, and the Reggio Emilia approach.
