Career Shift - Previous Roles 2012-2018
Prior to returning to study in the counselling field, I held senior leadership roles in both the corporate and non-profit sectors. As Head of Partnerships at a children's charity, I was responsible for overseeing key operations, building strategic partnerships, and driving the organization’s mission to support vulnerable children and families. Later, as Lead Strategist in Accounts Management, I led a team to develop and execute strategic initiatives for client accounts. These roles helped me develop strong leadership, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills, all of which I now apply to my work in the mental health and counselling field.
