Jessica Downie

Bothwell,Tasmania

Summary

I am a Registered Nurse/Registered Midwife and have worked within the public and private sectors. I have completed Masters of International Public Health and am very passionate about women’s health outcomes on a global scale.

This passion has led me to discover cosmetic nursing with the aim of making people look and feel their best.

Currently, I am completing my Graduate Diploma of Cosmetic Nursing and Injectables through the Australasian Academy of Cosmetic Dermal Science (AACDS).

Since January 2023, I have been working at Laser Clinics Australia (on Fridays) gaining knowledge and skills to perform a diverse range of advanced skin procedures, laser hair removal and cosmetic injectables.

I am passionate about giving clients an honest and natural approach and strive to make patients feel comfortable while enhancing their natural beauty and delivering patient satisfaction.

I am seeking a part-time position where I feel supported within a team environment and somewhere I can continue broadening my knowledge within the cosmetic field.

When I am not working as a nurse, I am busy with my three children running a sheep, cattle, and flower farm with my husband in the Central Highlands.

Warm Regards,
Jess Downie.
