  • During my time with Churches of Christ Home Care QLD I have had the opportunity to be able to Act in a Service Managers role whilst leading a team of 30 + care workers and 3 Team leaders in my current role , I have been able to oversee a clientele of 110 Home Care Packages over seeing budget and ensuring my Team Leaders were complaint with Aged care standards, 800 Commonwealth home support program, along with Veterans home care and Private funded services

  • As a Volunteer Case manager at Breaking through rehab, I was undergoing a role as a case manager and intake officer/support worker, my role included managing clients cases whom come from prison who suffer with drugs and alcohol issues as well as some mental illness, I would refer clients to study or other organisation such as Centrelink, employment agencies, doctors, Psychologist and or Psychiatrist
  • I would ensure they would attend every appointment necessary and keeping up with their case plan whilst residing in the rehab
  • Ensuring confidentiality is kept within regulation of the Privacy Act 2000
  • I pride myself to get the best outcome for any persons who attended the rehab service, all my co-workers and clients were always treated with respect as well as communicated effectively by myself

I view myself as very culturally acceptable worker; as working with all different cultures in the many different jobs I have been employed in.
