At MD Health, I work closely with exercise physiologists and physiotherapists weekly to create specialised exercise programs for both injury recovery and general fitness. This experience deepened my understanding of individualised fitness and rehabilitation, highlighting the importance of personalised exercise plans. During my time at Thornbury Village Osteopathy, I've had the privilege of learning from experienced osteopaths, which has significantly contributed to my professional growth and expertise in the field. Working closely with these seasoned practitioners, I've witnessed advanced osteopathic techniques and developed better patient communication skills, preparing me for a successful osteopathic career.

My collaborative experience has enhanced my grasp of athlete-specific requirements and injury management. Working with diverse athletes across various backgrounds and age groups has enriched my skill set and further fueled my passion for sports medicine. The opportunity to contribute to athletes' well-being and performance is both fulfilling and motivating. Additionally, I have provided emergency care for injured athletes, whether on the field or at sporting events.

I have substantial customer service expertise, with a specialty in handling VIP appointments and processing orders within the realm of designer clothing. My skills extend to visual merchandising and stock rotation, further bolstered by regular head office visits and continuous education through monthly modules. I'm proficient in cash management and excel in various administrative duties, including stock checks, email correspondence, and addressing customer inquiries.

Throughout my internship at the RMIT University Health Clinic, I was fortunate to actively engage with patients, both independently and alongside my peers. This hands-on experience significantly contributed to the refinement of my clinical skills and provided a deep understanding of the intricacies involved in managing a thriving osteopathy practice. Moreover, it offered invaluable insights into the patient's perspective when seeking healthcare, enriching my holistic approach to patient care.

During my internship at RMIT University's Sports Academy, I collaborated with male and female athletes engaged in football, volleyball, and basketball. Together with my fellow students in myotherapy, osteopathy, and chiropractic programs, I regularly addressed acute injuries, utilizing a spectrum of osteopathic techniques to optimise athletes' performance and support their recovery processes.

I excelled in customer service by establishing rapport with patients, reducing their pre-and post-procedure anxiety, and effectively communicating with various stakeholders. I consistently completed daily tasks, including patient admissions, creating patient packs, managing pre-admissions and waitlists, email correspondence, patient discharges, and stock management across different departments. Additionally, I adhere to the Austin Hospital's protocols, prioritising patient confidentiality, emergency procedures, hygiene, the 8 Principles of Patient-Centered Care, and Aboriginal Cultural Awareness

My responsibilities included providing customer service, addressing inquiries, and offering guidance both at the register and on the sales floor. I actively engaged with customers by informing them of ongoing promotions and providing styling suggestions. Additionally, I played a key role in stock rotation, ensuring shelves and racks were well-stocked, organized, and maintained, contributing to a clean and orderly store environment.
