• Sydney Yun Yee Tong Lion Dancing

I engaged in Lion Dancing to deepen my connection with my culture, and during these events, we joyfully celebrated diverse traditions and cultures. Through this experience, I honed my teamwork and leadership abilities. When the Australian brushfire crisis struck, my team and I organized numerous fundraisers to support those affected, including firefighters and animals. We performed in various locations across Sydney, receiving generous donations from individuals and businesses, and local councils also joined in to offer their support. This charitable endeavour holds a special place in my heart as it allowed me to combine my passion with a meaningful cause. Moreover, it played a significant role in bringing the local community together.

• ACU Vinnies Club

The university I attend Australian Catholic University of Sydney has created a Vinnies club this year which helps donate to charities and those in need. I participated in the club during the semester helping the club fundraise by selling sausage sizzles on campus and actively participating int he club.
