2nd Year Project - Electromechanical vibrating shoe insoles to assist elderly individuals struggling with nerve-affecting conditions, such as peripheral neuropathy. My role was the CAD designer for the task; I developed various models that fit all the functional and design requirements of the project, and also assisted in selecting appropriate electrical components for the product.
1st Year Project - Pacific Water Security project: Developed a water safety kit aimed at students in the Solomon Islands to ensure clean drinking water was easily identifiable, and to include physical, chemical, and biological tests for the various contaminants that could be present in the area. My role in this project was to develop a biological test to identify the presence of E. coli in the drinking water that would be usable by high school-aged students in the Solomon Islands.
