Customer Service Agent

• Conduct check-in procedures including baggage tagging, issuing boarding passes, and verifying travel documentation.
• Ensure passengers are correctly ticketed and connected to ongoing flights.
• Manage disruptions caused by delays or cancellations by arranging alternative travel for affected passengers.
• Respond to customer inquiries, assist with special service requests (e.g., wheelchair services, unaccompanied minors), and maintain a high standard of customer care.
• Prepare and distribute flight documentation including passenger manifests, flight summaries, and offload/load reports.
• Maintain effective communication with Ramp Agents, QantasLink Brisbane, and Brisbane Flow Control; adjust load details in accordance with Load Control instructions.

Ground Service Ramp Agent

• Receiving and dispatching aircraft to/from the bay, ensuring ground operations are conducted safely and efficiently
• Load and unload passenger baggage and freight according to the provided Load Report
• Liaise with flight and cabin crew to confirm Off-Block times
• Perform exterior walkarounds to identify and report any potential safety concerns or irregularities
• Coordinate with Load Control to manage adjustments to load distribution or documentation

Freight Handling

• Manage acceptance and dispatch of various cargo types including live animals, medical samples, and general freight
• Apply correct labelling, verify airway bills, and ensure shipper documentation complies with Qantas regulatory standards
• Process cargo using the iCargo system, confirming accuracy of shipment details
• Finalise a Deadload Statements to Load Control for load planning purposes
