I am a fourth-year BA degree student in the Early Childhood Education Program of Brock university of Canada, and I also got the two-year Early Childhood Education
College diploma in Seneca College of Canada. I am a permanent resident in Canada and I love to work with the children, families and collaborate with my colleagues. I have the knowledge, experience, and understanding of providing high-quality Child Care, and
the training experiences with the children to setting age-appropriate curriculums based on their needs, and interests.
Utilizes effective communication and teamwork to assist lead educators and enhance classroom dynamics. Knowledge of child development principles and classroom management techniques to promote educational success.
The last Field placement as a new learning model visual training with the YMCA Mississauga location educator, and during the three month's training and communication with the children and educator, it makes me feel confident to plan activities for the children and based on their interests and develop the effective connection skills with my colleagues and my mentor through the phone, Zoom Meeting, and via emails.
The second training opportunity was with the organization Kids Come First, and this time I was working with the older children as an after-school program. Based on the learning knowledge in the Seneca college, I tried my best to plan to support social interaction for the group of children, provides materials to encourage their self-selection and self-direction, and I also did the role model for the students to build positive relationships with their peers, educators and other adults in the learning center.
The first field placement in the YMCA child care center and my duty is to support my mentor's daily practices with the group of children of 4 to 7 years old. The main competencies for the whole field placement are working with the educators in the center as a group, conducting self-professional, building collaborative partnerships with families, and having a deep understanding of the children's emotional changes, and implementing the age-appropriate learning opportunities to develop their solve problem skills, and critical thinking skills.
