I am an enthusiastic and pro-active individual who is actively searching for my next exciting opportunity. I have a good amount of work experience relevant to my age in Building industries and retail. I have professional but confident skills when dealing with other team members or the general public. My previous employers have complimented me on my ability to use my initiative, utilise my time effectively, and for always committing to the job. Outside of work in England I provide a free service of pest and vermin control for local farmers and land owners in which I have both shotgun and firearms certificates (English) to be able to do so I have experienced in and around farms.

  • I previously worked for ‘Bradfords builder’s merchants’ prior to finishing college, during my time at Bradfords I became an engaged team member, gained a forklift licence and therefore satisfied my customers with the service I provided and post leaving Bradford, one of my customers kindly gave me the opportunity to work side by side with them to develop new skills in the building trade.

  • I also have worked previously for a large electrical installation company, first and second fixing new build houses, on large building sites. During my time I developed skills such as being able to produce quality work whilst under pressure in a fast pace environment.

Argos
  • Post leaving this job, I started a new job in Argos as a customer advisor. Shortly after starting my job at Argos I developed lots of new skills within the retail industry, such as selling extra guarantee to customers, managing the stockroom, and coming up with new ideas to make the stockroom more convenient for colleagues to work in. I quickly was offered a promotion to a responsible colleague, which I thoroughly enjoyed. This meant that I was a keyholder to the store, and a team leader. This was a great opportunity as it increased my managing skills. I have recently been training to become a trading support manager at Argos, meaning that I will manage colleagues and anything and everything around the store. This has been an amazing opportunity, yet unfortunately I will not be able to pursue it as Argos doesn’t quite fulfil my financial needs due to it only being a part time job.
