Extensive experience within the aged and healthcare sector, focusing on operations, quality management and compliance. This has included managing clinical governance for an aged care organisation, a community aged care nursing and allied health organisation overseas. Government projects include the ACT Health's COVID 19 Preparedness and Response Plan, training and education opportunities within the public health system.
In this role I am focused around delivery of safe, quality, clinical care. Considering consumers experience alongside their social and personal care goals.
Reporting on the national clinical indicator program (NQIP) quarterly, allows the opportunity to identify and work strategically with the health care team to provide real time clinical advice.

As part of the clinical advisory role, attending key stakeholder interstate meetings regarding different locations and health services. Largely around COVID outbreaks in centers and associated outbreak management plans. A comprehensive understanding of Department of Health advice in relation to COVID and other clinical issues which may arise is essential.

This intuitive has been rolled out in response to the COVID-19- outbreak within the Residential Aged Care Sector and the 2019 Aged Care standards.
Project management team selected to conduct training sessions for senior management and team leaders within Residential Aged Care homes across Canberra.
This was a innovate project that required robust change management skills. The reform included a new assessment and funding model for residential aged care and review of National Aged Care Quality Regulatory Processes.
It also developed new workforce roles within the aged care delivery of services.
As part of this position I worked across multisite's within Area Health sectors to coach, educate, support and implement the new My Aged Care reform with the Aged Care Sector. As this was a new innovate project requiring excellent documentation and quality feedback and meeting KPIs.
