A 4 bedded dedicated paediatric facility co-located in area 5 of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Gold Coast University Hospital providing high end critical care for children from birth to end of school age. The service supports the Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service (GCHHS) children’s medical, surgical and emergency services as well as working in collaboration with the level 6 tertiary Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) to provide services to children from other regions in South East Queensland and Northern New South Wales.
