- Performs routine histotechnological procedures i.e sectioning (microtomy), cryosectioning (on fresh patient samples) and staining (including special stains).
- Performs specialised procedures i.e. Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunofluorescence (DIF) and ISH.
- Prepares IHC antibodies with appropriate dilutions and keep records in excel sheets accordingly.
- Maintenance of the IHC and special stains’ machine
- Assists in training new staffs to perform routine procedures (adheres to Work, Health and Safety policy).
