Summary

Since 2018 I have taught Hospitality Food and Beverage each year- with the exception of 2023 when I didn't have a timetabled class. I have taught each of each of these classes to the completion of the HSC Yr 12. I have taught a range of units; including Prepare and Present Simple Dishes and Prepare and Present Sandwiches.

I have been responsible for running student lead Cafes- which cater to staff and parents. During these service periods - students are provided with opportunities to undertake a range of roles in a cafe. These Cafe service periods include the preparation and service of food items such as soups, pies, salads, sandwiches both hot and cold, espresso coffee service and preparation and service of a range of other non- alcoholic drinks.

I have been responsible for the organisation and catering of a wide range of College functions; such as Welcome Cocktail evenings for families, HSC showcase display , Grandparents/G Day, Orientation Day, Twilight tours and Open Days. For these events I have organised the food preparation and service for these functions. Preparing and presenting food items such as, sandwiches, canapes, desserts, slices, cakes, etc.

I am a Self-motivated Hospitality teacher who brings proven leadership, organisational and customer relations skills. Independently solves problems and keeps students on task to handle a range of expectations for their Hospitality course.
