Summary

As a Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration, and a Credentialled Diabetes educator with 12 years experience. I strive to deliver quality, empathetic and effective person centred care.

I have demonstrated ability to effectively communicate complex medical information and foster patient self-management skills.

I stay up to date with the ever changing diabetes environment by attending professional development opportunities, personal research and utilising the expertise of people I work with.

I excell when working as part of a team, but am able to manage an independent workload.

I am always looking for ways to improve the service provided and this is demonstrated by the development of the services where I currently work, including the multidisciplinary diabetes clinic.

I am a positive team member who is easy to get along with, generous with my my knowledge but open and appreciative to others knowledge and expertise.

I would love the opportunity to work in rural Australia and become part of a community.

I have a current Police check, and would be able to obtain a Working with Children and NDIS worker screening check as needed.
