
I am an experienced and passionate Nurse and Midwife with a warm approachable manner and caring disposition. Support clinical skills teaching such as IV cannulation, venepuncture, basic life support and catheterisation.
Demonstrate basic and intermediate clinical procedures such as Nasogastric tube insertion, vital signs measurement and medication administration. Ensure students learn correct PPE use, hand hygiene, sterile fields and aseptic technique.
I bring over 20 years of clinical experience in the areas of general nursing, oncology and palliative care, working both abroad and now in Sydney, where I currently work clinically at both North Shore Private and Hornsby Hospital in the Birthing Unit I feel that my broad clinical background and specialised skills in women's health will enable me to deliver safe, up to date and meaningful learning experiences in simulation and clinical skills teaching
