I began working in the disability sector in 1992. Employed as a human service worker with The Department Of Human Services at Janefield Training Center and Kingsbury Complex. I'm so privileged to see how far the disability sector has improved with independent living, choice and control and community integration. There is still so much more room for improvement and I'm an advocate in my daily work to see change and make it happen. Self-motivated and disciplined within team and individual work environments. Excellent people skills with a strong focus on building team morale. Effective conflict resolution skills. Focused on detail and efficiency. Effective planning and time management skills, able to prioritise to achieve set goals. Innovative with a strong commitment to continuous improvement.
