  • Information provision: Answering inquiries about council services, rates, permits, waste collection, community programs and development applications.

  • Administrative support: Processing payments, updating records, and handling documentation.

  • My journey with Magenta began in a support worker position where I provided supports both in home and out in the community to participants in the NDIS scheme.
  • I then progressed into a Senior Key Worker role and my duties were to manage multiple SIL homes (supported independent living).
  • These homes have several residents with a team of staff and my role as the Senior Key Worker was to manage the supports for the residents, manage the team of staff, rostering, payroll and the general running of the homes.
  • I carried this role for approx. 12 months before progressing into a Team Leader position.
  • My duties were as follows: -
  • To build strong professional relationships with participants, their family members and carers.
  • Measure participant outcomes against goals and feedback received then use this data to improve these outcomes.
  • Maintaining strict confidentiality is paramount.
  • Responding to enquiries in a timely and thorough manner.
  • Abide by mandatory and other reporting requirements.
  • Respond to all feedback and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Compliance and risk management as per the organisations policies and procedures.
  • Other duties are to develop a high performing, values aligned team, role model the organisations values, monitor team performance, conduct disciplinaries where required, provide training, upskilling, coaching, mentoring, recruitment and staff retainment.
