I have enhanced governance systems and delivered on value driven principles to build trusted relationships with our local partners and provide safe housing for flood impacted communities.

Holding a Masters in Not for Profit and Social Enterprise through the University of Technology in Sydney, I have a strong understanding of community engagement practices and the importance of value driven relationships with local stakeholders. Relationship Manager, Housing Taskforce

  • The Housing Taskforce was established in response to the widespread displacement of disaster impacted people caused by the unprecedented floods of March 2022 on the NSW North Coast
  • The Taskforce leads the implementation of temporary accommodation options, including the establishment and management of eleven temporary housing sites, and the delivery of accommodation programs on private properties, including caravans and pod housing
  • The Relationship Manager role leads the governance and management of formal partnerships with the Housing Taskforce and delivers on complex stakeholder engagement with the Northern Rivers community, residents, councils, businesses and recovery support services
  • A proficiency in working collaboratively with stakeholders has enabled me to build robust, trusted ties with the program's Community Housing Providers to deliver positive outcomes for flood impacted community members

  • This role liaised across multiple business units in both organisations to identify and create sustainable co-designed projects to meet the partnership outcomes of building more connected and resilient communities
  • Based in the Partnerships Team at Australian Red Cross, the role required liaising and collaborating with IAG’s Safer Communities Team, Australian Red Cross’ Emergency Services department, Community Programs teams and Regional Managers to create programs and activities focused on building resilience within communities

Highlights:

  • Development of the Learner Driver Mentor project in Western Sydney, working with Just Reinvest to increase the resilience of First Nations communities living in Western Sydney
  • Development of the “Get Prepared “app, helping communities across Australia to be more prepared for disasters.
