- Consolidated and reformatted claims data from each international division and calculated recoveries due from QBE’s group reinsurance treaties, including on both the Per Risk and Catastrophe XoL treaties as well as their combined Risk and Catastrophe aggregate XoL treaties.
- Created and issued bordereaux, debit notes and loss advices in respect of the above-mentioned covers.
- Regularly monitored large losses to identify significant movements and read through legal reports to identify the reasons behind them (then liaising with brokers and claims teams).
- Used various software to analyze and present data (mainly Excel and SAP Business Objects), to identify loss trends for the purposes sharing with the Group Executive Committee and/or perspective reinsurers.
- Took a lead role in implementing and testing a new outwards reinsurance system (Prima XL). Created new processes (and process guides) to streamline/automate the recovery processes.

- Reviewed contract wording and/or legal documentation, dealing with large and complex claims. Provided regular updates to reinsurers on claims advised to the group covers.
- Built strong and lasting relationships with internal divisional & assumed reinsurance managers, claims managers, loss adjusters and external brokers/reinsurers.
- Adhering to strict month-end reporting deadlines.
