Within my role as a Police Officer, I have been exposed to a number of significant situations that required quick and tactfully decision making. This role has made me competent in a number of disciplines including investigative pathways, effective and accurate record keeping, emergency response driving and training junior officers. I can confidently display sound judgment under pressure when making critical decisions that impact public safety during emergency situations. This role has seen me working both unsupervised and within a tight-knit team. This role has made me enjoy working in fast paced environments. I strive to create a significant quantity of quality work.
This role sees me respond to a vast array of emergency incidents. Again, being exposed to time sensitive matters has allowed me to become a quick witted critical thinker to make impactful decisions. I am an Emergency Response Truck Driver and consistently drive both light vehicles and trucks under lights and sirens to emergency incidents, whilst driving safely with my crews and the publics safety at the forefront of my driving. I am competent in the use of various fire extinguishing agents.
My title within the Rural Fire Service is Firefighter, within this role I respond with my 2 brigades to bush and grass fires, structure fires, car fires, Motor Vehicle Accidents and Hazmat Incidents just to name a few. Due to this line of work, I am a critical thinker and can work under immense pressure. Working as a team is essential, much like any other type of employment.
This volunteering has exposed me to high pressure and fast moving emergency situations. I held the postion of 'Club Captain' looking after the emergency operations side of the club, rostering volunteers, recordkeeping and conflict de-escalation between members.

I undertook part time work at Natrad Phillip - the second generation family business. I was required to undertake different tasks including answering phones, assisting customers, cleaning and undertaking basic mechanical repairs on vehicles and related parts. This work often exposes em to difficult situations where I am required to think outside the box to find the best solution possible for problems as they arise. Stocktaking, replenishing stock and dispatching goods were key roles i undertook, including invoicing and pricing items for both trade and retail customers.
