Joel Lally

I am 22 years old and currently working in sales on a commission-based salary for our family-owned real estate business, Ian Hutchison Real Estate. Our company has been the leading agency in the South Perth area for many years, both in sales and rentals. I have been working alongside my mentor and dad, Steve Lally, who has been the number one salesperson in South Perth for many years. This has given me the opportunity to handle approximately 70 sales a year since I started in real estate.

I have been working in real estate for four years, starting right after I left school. I worked alongside my dad, where I learned the ins and outs of the listing and selling process. Through this, I have developed a strong commitment to maintaining a high degree of honesty and integrity, while always empathizing with and caring for my clients' needs, remaining honest and ethical with all parties.

I recently began listing and selling properties myself, switching to a commission-only structure earlier this year. Since July 2024, I have sold 10 properties on my own and another 15 as a secondary agent, but I have dealt with hundreds of deals over the past four years while working as my dad's personal assistant.

My goal as a real estate representative is always to listen with empathy, to fully understand my clients' needs, and to ensure the best possible outcome for them while maintaining an honest and ethical approach.

I have grown up in South Perth, WA, where I attended primary and secondary school at Saint Columba Primary School and Wesley College. I played AFL and cricket and have been involved in multiple local sporting clubs, including the South Perth Junior Football Club, Perth Demons Colts Development Football Club, South Perth Junior Cricket Club, South Perth District Cricket Club, and Curtin University Football Club. I am currently playing golf at the Royal Perth Golf Club. I have also spent some of my time helping in the community at Como Rotary, where my dad is a member.
