I was tasked with supporting the GCR team operating in the APAC region. Responsibilities included collecting, analysing and presenting information for the team and clients regarding proposals by EY to provide centralised direct and indirect tax services for multinationals with international subsidiaries.

Key achievements:

• Sourced pricing information for client deliverables regarding various tax requirements, complexities of subsidiaries and country assumptions.
• Collated and presented fees in line with proposal scopes to senior managers and directors through Excel and Powerpoint.
• Leveraged internal tools and technology to analyse details of proposals and engagements between EY and multinational companies.
• Coordinated with team members in Singapore, India and the Philippines to collaborate on 5+ client proposals within deadlines.

I acted as a researcher and consultant for Microsoft, collaborating with specialists in their Generative AI department to identify an industry/business with a high-cost process or inefficiency. Working in teams, I presented a solution to the Microsoft team that utilised Microsoft Co-pilot for clinical decision support systems to assist nurses with patient care.

Key Achievements:

• Independent research on global, regional and domestic healthcare markets, ensuring considered assumptions on industry inefficiencies, feasible implementation with current systems, risk analysis and evidence of Generative AI in healthcare.
• Coordination with four team members to organise and plan for the presentation, conduct research and analysis on various markets, ideate and prototype solutions and communicate with relevant stakeholders.
• Collaborative presentation to industry partners, where we were chosen as one of three teams where Microsoft is considering the further research and development of our solution.

Working for InFlow Education, I was responsible for tutoring students in Mathematics, Economics and Business Studies throughout HSC preparation. Utilizing this experience, I started an independent tutoring service, responsible for price negotiations, lesson planning, scheduling and resource allocation.

Key Achievements:

• Effective price negotiation and setting personal rates with 3+ customers.
• Established intricate schedules and organized deadlines with both personal and consumer demands. Constructed lesson plans and catered study tasks to suit student needs.
• Developed a comprehensive knowledge of multi-stage syllabuses through ages 12-18 to further student understanding and excellence in Mathematics, Economics and Business Studies
• Mentored and tutored 10+ HSC students undergoing exam preparation, achieving three Band 6’s and four Band 5’s.
