Accomplishments

  • I was chosen for a specialised team for the restart and reheat of the blast furnace due to my skillset and work ethic. The blast furnace had shutdown unexpectedly for 3 months greatly affecting the business and our customers. It was 3 months of blood, sweat and tears when a lot of the work force thought it was going to be shut for good. Being a part of the team who reopened the furnace was one of the greatest work achievements of my life, saving 1000 jobs.
