Over 25 years of experience in procurement and contract management, software licensing and the delivery professional services., Led sales and service delivery teams of up to 20 staff, driving performance and delivering results 10+% year on year growth across diverse Cyber and software managed service IT projects., Extensive experience in SAM services, including compliance auditing, baseline analysis, and utilisation reporting. Development and delivery of a managed software registry service with monthly customer renewals reporting. David has a thorough understanding of licensing metrics and End User Licence Agreements (EULAs), and has significant experience analysing reporting for Microsoft and third-party software inventory tools. Through strong analytical skills David will ascertain and validate a compliance position. David’s involvement with AcronymIT from early 2000 saw him involved in all aspects of the company’s growth and service delivery. David worked in the development of simple quotation preparation, through myriads of different Federal Government procurement contracts and panel arrangements, to more recent times where the company was responding to large niche tenders for solutions offering cyber licensing and services integration with ongoing support services. David has extensive experience working with Government IT procurement. Specifically, the Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPR’s) and policies over the last 35 years, CPR’s that currently sit under the procurement framework of the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 (PGPA Act). Put simply, these rules look to ensure Commonwealth procurement delivers best value for money whilst also demonstrating the highest standards of ethics, probity and integrity. Amongst other things, Government procurement process looks to enhance and protect both First Nations business and Small to Medium Enterprises, in the face of ubiquitous multi-national offerings.
