Grinding Mill Specialist Technician

- Hired as a mill specialist technician my duties were to plan, execute or oversee maintenance or installation tasks on Metso or legacy Metso equipment with in Australia and Indonesia.
- Equipment would include Ball Mills , SAG Mills, HIG Mills and Scrubbers.
- Maintenance would include hydraulic system, drive train and general mill health and performance checks
- Mill installations and commissioning.
- QA/QC on components during and prior to installation.
- Acting FSE overseas during component change outs. Mill shells, gears and pinions.
- Providing a detailed report to the client consisting of faults, issues, potential upgrades and required parts for upcoming shutdown
- With the technical knowledge provided by an OEM company, supervising shutdown were a simple task which made it easy to build relationships with client
- From time to time, my duties would also include thickeners and floatation cell inspection, upgrades and trouble shooting on Metso equipment.
