I am currently employed with Dominos Warrnambool and started as a delivery driver until December then switched to e-bike deliveries and moved into warrnambool to ba able to work seeing i had lost my license.
1-4 days per week as school-based work experience (not an apprenticeship)
- Work in an engineering business repairing farm machinery, fencing, gates, yards, footbaths, Ute trays, rust removal, cement reinforcement for structures, etc.
- Welding using mig, tig daily, feel confident and competent using this equipment
- Can use a variety of tools and equipment, angle grinder, drills, bending and folding machines, drop saws, bench saws, metal lathes, plasma cutters, hydraulic presses, etc
1-2 days a week I worked around the workshop cleaning and organizing things to make sure it was a safe and neat working place for the mechanics. Sometimes would deliver fixed mowers to customers houses if they were elderly.
