I am a dedicated dump truck operator who has worked in a variety of environments enabling a wide set of skills to be developed to support any number of professional settings. • LABOURER, Science2Medical, 2019 - 2020, My role with Science2Medical focused on working closely with HVAC technicians and other contractors to install and maintain duct work, fans, and other equipment used for fume extraction. Key to the role was practicing excellent troubleshooting and faultfinding skills. Some of my duties included measuring and cutting duct work to the correct dimensions, installing it using specialized tools and equipment, preventing leaks and maintaining optimal air flow, installing and maintaining fans and other equipment used for fume extraction, using poly welding and other specialized equipment to weld plastic pipes and fittings, maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to all safety regulations and protocols.
• LABOURER, Landprep Civil, 2018 - 2019, My role with Landprep Civil focused on excavating and preparing the ground for the installation of conduits, pipes, and other underground infrastructure. Key to the role was practicing effective communication and organisational skills. Some of my duties included digging trenches and excavating pits using hand and powered tools, coordinating with other workers and contractors, maintaining accurate records of the materials used, work completed, and any issues encountered during the project, and ensuring that the trenches and pits are of the correct dimensions and angles, so that the infrastructure can be installed safely and efficiently.
• DECK HAND / FIRST MATE, Tangalooma Launches, 2016 - 2018, My role with Tangalooma Launches focused on the maintenance and upkeep of the boat while underway at sea and at harbour. Key to the role was maintaining a high degree of attention to detail and practicing good communication skills. Some of my duties included performing manual labouring duties such as assisting lines, conducting pre-start and shutdown checks of engine, assisting boat passengers and ensuring that the decks are always clean and in a suitable and safe condition.
• TRADES ASSISTANT, Value Electrical, 2015 - 2016, My role with Value Electrical focused on planning electrical systems installations or modifications and performing preventive maintenance on all electrical systems. Key to the role was practicing reliability and maintaining a strong commitment towards teamwork. Some of my duties included responsible for the installation, repair and maintenance of all types of electrical and electronic equipment, testing continuity of circuits to ensure compatibility and safety of components, installing surface, underground conduit junction boxes, and weather proof fittings, following all specifications and observing all health & safety procedures.
