  • Leader of the team which introduced the award winning Sustainability by the Bay Science program. This program included snorkelling excursions to investigate rocky reef ecosystems. This program improved engagement by providing direct world relevance and fun, while catering for different learning styles.

This was the inaugural year the Unit 3 & 4 study was offered at St Michael’s Grammar, during which I designed and implemented the entire course.
  • Contributed to St Michael’s Grammar School (St Kilda) winning The Australian newspaper’s national competition for Innovation in Education through our Outdoor Education program challenging student and connecting them with nature.

  • Fundraised for our associated school in Timor Leste


At Haileybury:

  • Introduced Bouldering (climbing) as Saturday sport, and 2014 After School Indoor Rockclimbing Club, and interschool climbing comp.
  • built the Adventure Racing team over 3 years to become the Australian Schools Team Champion in the 2012 Hillary Challenge.
  • Lead the Adventure Racing team to New Zealand to compete.
  • Adventure and Environment club, and State Cycling championships.


For other schools:

  • Introduced the 28 day Vietnam World challenge camp, ran Year 7 Peer Support camps, Introduced 8 day Cradle Mountain Tasmania Hike
  • Introduced Duke of Edinburgh Award and ran associated camps, Introduced sailing and triathlon electives.
  • Competed as staff in the Human Powered Vehicle race.

Culturalinterests and Recreational Pursuits

Competitive Rockclimbing – I am the Victorian State Masters Champion for indoor lead climbing. I have been a member of the Victorian State Climbing Team, and have competed in the 2014, 15 & 16 Australian Lead Climbing National Championships. I have been climbing outdoors for nearly 20 years.


I also sing, play guitar, mountainbike, surf and play tennis.
