- Oversaw multi-staged projects and assisted the Workplace Manager/s in the day-to-day implementation of the Mirvac HSE Management System and the Workplace Risk Management Plan/s.

- Reported directly to the Regional HSE Manager and maintaining a functional reporting line to the Workplace Manager/s on all matters relating to health safety environment across the designated workplace/s.

- Assisted and reviewed in the investigation and formal reporting of incidents involving injury, near miss, damage to plant & equipment or environment harm within 24 hours and ensured that appropriate and timely actions where initiated to prevent recurrence.

- Role modelled appropriate behaviour with regard to HSE matters.

- Provided assistance in review of HSE Management Plans and Safe Work Method Statements or equivalent provided by Service Providers prior to commencement of work.

Assisted and conducted regular internal audits of workplaces at maximum 3 month intervals or intervals as defined by the HSE Management System and reported on HSE management performance.

- Participated in design reviews to consider HSE risks and design change to eliminate or minimise the risks identified.

- Communicated incident occurrences, in particular notifiable occurrences involving emergency services or regulatory authority attendance at the workplace, to relevant personnel and external parties including the Regional HSE Manager immediately on becoming aware of the incident.

- Facilitated HSE milestones as a key performance measure(s) for all managers (direct reports).

- Monitored implementation of Mirvac Group HSE Management System, procedures and work practices to manage compliance with legislation, regulations and codes of practice or standards and Mirvac Group HSE objectives and targets.

- Assisted in the identification and provided assistance with work activities which had the potential for significant (material harm) impact on the environment and ensure they are planned and executed to minimise risk to the environment.
