In February I took an opportunity from sodexo to begin my fifo career.

My duties include performing electrical preventive maintenance.

Switchboard testing.

Fixed plant maintenance.

Commercial industrial and domestic maintenance.

Working to rio tintos policies and procedures.

Ensure safe electrical standards using known knowledge of AS3000

• In 2021 I took the opportunity to become a weapons technician maintaining MU90 torpedos
• My day to day tasks involve electrical and mechanical testing of weapons
• Following procedures and safety protocols in the build up of weapons
• Ensuring a safe And effective end result.

• My daily tasks involve working autonomously to compete mainly small to large domestic and commercial installs and maintenance
• Included with my employment is the use of a company vehicle where I am responsible for replacing used materials and ensuring the vehicle is safe to take out each day
• Maintaining a healthy relationship with customers and clients
• Ensuring all work is performed to a high standard.

• During my employment, I was responsible for duties such as shop fit-outs, commercial electrics, reading electrical plans and drawings, large data fit-outs
• Working within a large team my most extensive project was assisting with the electrical and security completion of Shelford Constructions head office on Dixon Road, Rockingham
• During this time I gained valuable skills as I was required to work alongside other subcontractors and trades.

• Working within a close-knit team I am tasked to provide electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance to both Residential and Industrial areas
• Some examples include testing and alterations to new housing, fault finding and repairs in rental properties, and cable ladder installation and termination
• I am responsible for continuing a high level of customer service and developing a good rapport with existing and future clients
• I consistently work within the appropriate workplace health and safety parameters.

• Beginning my electrical career, I successfully completed my apprenticeship with APW electrical then continued with the company as a qualified tradesperson
• My normal duties included carrying out domestic, commercial, and industrial installation and maintenance
• More specifically I gained valuable experience executing general maintenance and repairs to rental properties, rewires to older houses, installations in new housing, and solar panel and controller installation
• Commercial work involved shop and workshop installation, installation of hydraulic hoists in motor vehicle workshops, and repairs to air conditioning and catering equipment
• My most notable project was working at Coogee Chemicals over a 6 month period installing new workshops and installations in hazardous areas in their process plant and tank farm
• I gained experience on “EX'' Rated equipment and steel wired armoured cabling
• During this time I gained valuable safety training working in these hazardous areas
