I commenced as a Contractor with Lahey Constructions. My title was Site Foreman and I delivered a refurbished hall, Block 4- The Hub, at Wauchope Primary Public School. This started with the removal of Asbestos external and internal linings which had been done to Hygienist methodology, and then Contractors could start with demolishing existing walls, flooring and terminate services.

  • Inspected all scaffold erections for condition and compliance with standards
  • Supervised team of 8-10 professionals completing painting work for commercial client
  • On this project, I enabled to:

I commenced as a Contractor with JLL Property Development Services. Title was Site Manager and I delivered office refurbishments for Department of Human Services offices in the Sydney Metropolitan Area and three (3) regional Offices- Charlestown, Port Macquarie and Coffs Harbour over two weekends on each project site, which started with demolishing existing walls, flooring and terminate services. This all had to be completed by Monday Morning ready for Centrelink officials to resume their services. Process went as follows:

  • Produced a dilapidation report before works could proceed,
  • Ensuring mandatory inspection and minor works are completed in compliance with safety requirements and within budget,
  • Initiating action and processes to prevent the occurrence of unsafe incidents,

Department of Transport. (Sydney Trains), Alexandria HO. I came on this project to finish it off as the project started in February, 2017. I was able to:

  • Liaised with different trades regarding organizing them when they were to come in and provide their services

  • Involved in structural works on the roof (Plant Room) and finishing works including quality control

  • Assisting services providers for the relocation of existing services, as the site was still being used as a residential home by patrons,
  • Checking off all drawings, including RL's so that the near completion of one building, meant we could move onto starting the next on, where civil works was already completed.

  • I assisted with the set out for the project including finishing works.
  • Produced ITP's for all trades in order for units to be commissioned off, so that residents could be moved into them.
