• Analysing and extracting the data available from various sources: Hadoop, SQL server, Teradata, Snowflake, flat files.
• Reshaping / preparing the data using Tableau Prep, SQL queries, Python code and Excel to optimize the performance of the dashboard.

• Gathering success criteria from senior stakeholders to ensure Tableau outputs will fulfil Business requirements via Agile Methodology.
• Conducting demos for stakeholders and cross-functional teams to showcase project progress and provide key updates.
• Periodically reviewing usage statistics of dashboards to make sure it is still answering consumer’s needs.
• Delivered projects using an agile methodology, including daily scrums and monthly scrum board reviews.
• Conducted retrospectives at the end of each sprint and captured user stories through Jira, slicing work into manageable deliverables.
• Collaborated closely with the Scrum Master to identify and plan project deliverables.
• Regularly conduct Zoom meetings with team members in Poland and India, collaborating effectively with global teams and colleagues across multiple regions.
• Mentoring new Tableau users and serving as an on-call resource, offering guidance and support as needed.

Key Projects

• Developing and maintaining Performance Management dashboards for Retail Banking. These dashboards are used at the monthly Finance Exco meeting with a high level of importance and visibility. This allows the board to see how different metrics are performing against the bank’s targets, and if they are under / over performing.
• Upgrading the data collection and refresh process for Cost Allocations within the bank, as well as remodelling the Tableau dashboards to enhance the user’s experience.
• Managed the Travel Dashboard as part of a bank-wide initiative aimed at reducing the organization's carbon footprint by 50% by 2030. This involved closely monitoring and analyzing expenditures related to air, rail, and hotel travel to support sustainability goals.

RBS financial institution focused on meeting Prudential Regulation Authority requirements through advanced data reporting and analysis.

• Led Tableau development for Liquidity Reporting Regulatory project, automating metrics for faster business decisions.
• Developed 20+ Tableau reports, promoted across 3 production releases.
• Created Autosys jobs for data refresh automation in test and production.
• Wrote and optimized SQL queries for effective data extraction and report population.
• Implemented a security model to control report access on Tableau servers.
• Facilitated handover tasks and demonstrated change processes to future developers.
• Supported report promotion and advised on Tableau usage for various teams.

Extract / transform / load developer whose main purpose was to automate SAS VA reports

• Experience in analyzing the multiple data sources to build the transformation rules to extract, transform and load the data in the target tables
• The use of SAS DI studio to build the ETL jobs, SAS Management Console to schedule the jobs, and SAS enterprise guide to translate the current tactical solution being used to populate the dashboards
• SAS VA to also helped in testing the completed ETL jobs

Software developer on the European Deposit Guarantee Scheme (EDGS), which was a regulatory reporting requirement RBS had to meet for the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA)

• Wrote SQL scripts to pull data from Hadoop Enterprise Data Warehouse reporting layer which was then used in the HTML reports
• Completed data mining exercises to assist the business to UAT test the data
• Wrote queries to identify customers with certain criteria, which they then used to check against the source systems
• Developed internal reports for the business using front-end technologies such as HTML5 and Angular
• Developed external reports to be sent to the regulator using JavaScript and Java
• The use of UNIX and Tomcat to deploy the reports to UAT and Production environments
• The use of Git to work on the same reports in parallel with other developers
• I was part of a daily scrum team of developers, business analysts and testers during the project

• I was part of a team whose aim was to build a central hub for reporting, regardless of how these reports were originally developed e.g.Excel, Microsoft Access
• Maintained security of the reports by assigning security roles, which granted users access to specific things
• Made these reports scalable for business users to use them on work iPads, whilst adhering to security requirements
