• Report directly to the Operations Manager, overseeing all aspects of workshop operations at Murray Engineering’s Pinjarra facility.
• Manage a team of 70+ personnel including supervisors, estimators, boilermakers, apprentices, leading hands, sandblasters, painters, and trade assistants, ensuring high standards of safety, productivity, and quality.
• Lead project management activities including quoting, scheduling, procurement, and preparation of ITPs and MDRs.
• Develop and manage quarterly and annual revenue forecasts in alignment with business goals.
• Monitor and control overhead costs to ensure operational efficiency and profitability.
• Drive continuous improvement through the implementation of new technologies and the development of CAPEX business cases.
• Manage supplier relationships to ensure consistent quality, competitive pricing, and delivery efficiency.
• Utilize software tools including Excel, Word, Outlook, Adobe Pro, AutoCAD, Pronto, and INX for documentation, planning, and safety management.
• Prepare comprehensive job packs containing drawings, procedures, SWIs, JHAs, and quality control documentation.
• Maintain a safe and compliant workplace through planned/unplanned task observations and regular workshop inspections.
• Engage in business development activities to maintain and grow relationships with existing and new customers.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and project discussions.
