- Driving elderly around Penrith for different activities (coffee, shopping, picnic, scenic drive, etc). Thus there was communication with staff on where to go, relationships building with the residents, and of course driving an 11 seat minibus. Cleaning of the bus was also my responsibility.
- Delivering pharmaceuticals to local houses as well as nursing homes around the Macarthur area. I worked local routes many times a week, using a GPS, and dealing/communicating with customers as well as the pharmacies themselves to ensure smooth deliveries.
- Teaching mainly children guitar with the odd adult here and there. I help students through their guitar journey whilst trying to keep things fun even during the frustrating times, and also cater to whatever goals and musical aspirations the student themselves want to achieve.
- Checked temperatures of residents within aged care village, Blue Hills Village. Allowed for professional and fun communication between all residents whilst tracking individual's information on a weekly basis. Developed and maintained strong relationships with said residents in a complicated time in face-to-face interaction.
- Working as a part of the administration team for two aged care facilities, Hillside at Figtree and Greenhill Aged Care, I exercised organisational and time management skills for analysis of how the facility was performing. I mainly assessed aspects of residential care, work health and safety, staff education and general team building.
- Previous company needed English advisor for staff members who struggled with it. Mainly checking various reports, staff notes and e-mails, ensuring professional vernacular was maintained and consistent.
- After completing a minor barista course, I immediately started working in a cafe within an aged care facility, Durham Green. Here I communicated with customers on a daily basis, not only taking their orders but also prepping said orders - sandwiches, coffees, pastries - whilst also liasing with the kitchen staff. Other percs included managing money and cleaning dishes.
