Worked in corporate training industry for many years and within a range of sales and business development roles helped achieve and drive sales generation and new customer acquisition as well as new developing new market opportunities.
In 2016 started own business in a new field with no previous experience and have established a sustainable new business that employs 4 staff and delivers pool products and services to over 3,000 customers in and around the City of Monash.
Established new franchise business from infancy which involved:
* Learning all aspects of pool maintenance, equipment and servicing customer needs both in-store and with onsite technical support and cleaning services
* Provision of a range of products in-store on retail level such as pool chemicals, accessories and equipment
* Recruitment of pool technicians to deliver a range of services including troubleshooting problems, cleaning and balancing pools, installation of pool equipment such as filters, pumps, chlorinators, heaters, covers etc...
* Increasing sales via targetted marketing activities and increasing database from zero to over 3,000 customers currently on database
* Driving sales growth year on year and achieving yearly revenue of in excess of $800,000 in last financial year
My role involved consulting with organisations learning and executive departments in area of saleforce effectiveness, leadership development and customer service best practices. My role focused on creating tailored online learning solutions that delivered on specific organisational objectives as well as individual learning requirements. Some of my achievements included:
* Providing a dedicated learning portal for Toyota employees that were being transitioned out of the company due to closure of Toyota. Specifically providing them with ongoing skills that would assist them in finding new employment opportunities after role redundancy. Revenue
* Establishing a dedicated platform to OAMPS Insurance broker staff that aligned to their competency framework and delivered on key skills and behaviours that were key in each of their specific roles. The success of this program was measured by some key metrics such as employee engagement and evidential skill transfer that was critical to each role
