I have an extremely high interest in sports including golf,cricket,Football having played from a very young age for Wycheproof-Narraport football,netball club,Newlyn football club and currently play and involved on a board level with Cairns Saints football club. the team aspects of achieving goals as a collective group, diversity of bringing a community together is what really appeals to me and the range of friendships this brings from playing with the next generation and teaching them. To being on a board level and helping volunteers in the successful running of clubs and being involved with the Cairns Saints having a woman's team and giving them a chance to play a game they love. 

I have worked for V/Line rail corporation for 13+ years with 11.5 of those years working within the major projects side of the company working a roster of ten days on four days off. Working ten hour shifts with plenty of extra overtime as well. 

While working in major projects I been involved in but not limited too.  bridge installations,tie cycles, level crossing renewals,turnout repairs, installations and removals, pit renewals, resurfacing works,sledding,joint maintenance, welding,rail re-stress,track patrols all these works are carried out across the entire victorian train networks from freight lines,regional fast rail corridors(up to 160km/per hour),passenger lines and metropolitan lines. with the last 5 years of working within areas of leadership being responsible for critical works,safe working solutions and setup, running crews of up to 30-40 people and lots of moving plant onsite all with the responsibilities of being qualified and responsible for the signing off of track to be handed back in a safe manner for trains to resume at normal running speeds. 

the last few years I have been contracting working for skilled within the V/Line MPM crew over the summer months helping deliver projects sometimes as a labourer and at times filling in as a ganger when required.
