At Boutique Psychology, my role involved individual psychological counselling with clients of all ages. I was involved in various psychological assessments with clients including Cognitive assessments (WISC, WAIS, WPPSI), academic assessments (WIAT), autism assessments (ADOS, MIGDAS) and ADHD assessments. Although I work independently with clients, as a provisional psychologist I work under supervised practice. My work at Boutique Psychology was originally 4 days a week (30 hours), until November 2023, in which I am working full time, currently.


Within my role I write comprehensive psychological reports that include assessment data, diagnoses and clients background history. These reports are often used for other services i.e. NDIS.

  • My duties at headspace consist of administration tasks for allied health professionals such as appointment booking, referral processing and handling of new enquiries for the organisation
  • As a receptionist I handled all calls that come through to the centre from clients, tertiary services, parents and schools
  • Headspace have provided various training on conversation manners, de-escalation techniques and managing difficult calls, due to the nature and complexity of calls we receive at reception
  • Further duties within this role included working with and understanding Medicare processes, working independently and within a team environment and ensuring the queries of all consumers were attended too
  • Working for headspace allowed me to work with sensitive information and ensure client confidentiality was maintained to the highest of stringency.
