during my time at westrac i worked in multiple locations both local and fifo, such as engines final drives transmission rebuilds machine rebuilds field service and new machines. during this time my rolls included

• Inspected and tested machinery and equipment to diagnose malfunctions.
• creating and organising parts lists for jobs
• managing time and labour on new machine builds to ensure jobs stayed within budget and on schedule
• remote breakdown repairs
• scheduling maintenance and prioritising machines to ensure reduced downtime
• identifying and reporting hazards to ensure a safe work space
• undertake risk assessments to identfy unsafe tasks and manage the risk before undertaking
• ensure all tooling is in safe condition, calibrated and within date
• complete detailed handovers and labour reports
• manage workshop consumption, waste and employ various cost saving strategies
• Maintained accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job for effective tracking purposes.
• Maintained open lines of communication with management, providing regular updates on plant operations and addressing any concerns promptly.
• carried out testing of machine cycle times to ensure peak efficiency

during this time i managed my own business as a balloon twister for party entertainment. i worked alongside other businesses to help with scheduling planing and delivering the service. in this time i learn how to work in close relation to a customer and the importance of punctuality
