Social Work Study Tour Vietnam, 2024, 1 of 3 Social Work Students to receive a New Colombo Grant funding a 1-month study trip for students to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The trip included participating in visits to various organisations/NGOs, as well as a range of practice experiences alongside OT students. Specifically, spending the final 2-weeks working in a government rehabilitation centre for children with severe autism, developmental delays, cerebral palsy and other disabilities.
Nepal World Challenge Trip, 2019, Applied for and was accepted into a student funded and ran World Challenge trip to Nepal for 1 month, where I organised accommodation, transportation and activities in cooperation with 16 other students.
United Nations Association of Australia (UNAA): Work Experience, 2018, Spent 5 days at UNAA where I created a PowerPoint, program booklet and wrote an article for their 2018 UNAAWA gala, with over 300 attendees. Additionally, I created a PowerPoint about the UN for the UNAAWA webpage.

Edmund Rice Camps for Kids: Leader/Mentor, 2023, Current, Attended 3 respite camps for 65+ at-risk kids (aged 7-15) where I worked collaboratively with other young adults to run fun, engaging and safe camp programs.
Follow The Dream Tutoring: Governor Stirling, Current, Weekly Afterschool volunteer tutoring for Aboriginal high school students through the ‘follow the dream’ program. Involves helping make meals for students and providing support through mentoring, running educational games/activities, and assisting with schoolwork.
International Volunteering: Rural school, Kathmandu (Nepal), 2019, As part of my World Challenge trip, we spend 5 days at a rural school near Kathmandu. We used the money we raised throughout the year to build a wall to protect the school from landslides, painted classrooms/murals and made dividing walls to create more classrooms. We also played games with the students, visited their homes and families and engaged in community life.
Dream Builders Community Meals Service: Midland, 2017, 2019, Volunteered weekly at a meals service for those in need in the local community. This involved food service and cleaning, as well as engaging with and building rapport and positive relationships with the attendees.
