Jorge William Ramirez Huaman

Chief Mate with over eight years of experience in the maritime industry, specializing in LNG and bulk carrier operations. I graduated from the National School of Merchant Marine of Peru, where I received comprehensive training as a cadet on LNG and bulk carrier vessels from March 2015 to July 2016. This foundational experience paved the way for my roles as Third Officer and Second Officer.

From September 2017 to March 2020, I excelled as a Third Officer on LNG vessels, overseeing navigation, cargo operations, and safety procedures. I ensured compliance with international maritime regulations and managed watchkeeping duties, safety drills, and equipment maintenance. In March 2020.

I advanced to Second Officer of Navigation until May 2023. In this role, I was responsible for detailed voyage planning, emergency response coordination, and regulatory compliance. My position required managing cargo operations and maintaining accurate logs while ensuring the safety and efficiency of vessel operations.

Certified as an Internal Auditor in ISM, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 since February 2024, I bring expertise in quality management, environmental compliance, and safety. My strong leadership, operational knowledge, and problem-solving skills make me a valuable asset in the maritime industry.
