My name is Jorja Molony, I am a loving mother of two gorgeous boys. I'm currently a sterilisation nurse and Dental Assistant. I have only been in this field for a couple of years, but have loved learning and growing in my role. I have found working with children to be a passion of mine. I have an eagerness to work and learn and expand on my knowledge in the dental setting. I enjoy working as part of a team and I also can work efficiently alone. Job overview
- I work in is a busy fast paced 6 chair operation
- High attention to detail and strict adherence to health and safety procedures including all sterilisation of dental equipment is a major priority in my work. I can assist with all general procedures, but would like more experience in RTC treatments as I have only done these a handful of times. I can process digital xrays, but as having only cert 3 I have not placed the dental films in the patients mouth. I would love to expand and learn more in this area. I love making genuine connections with my patients and taking their comfort seriously. I also do basic Lab work and enjoy the challenges my job brings.
- I also preform reception duties and have knowledge of dental for windows, Medicare and Hicaps procedures and all appointment bookings. I also communicate with other health care providers for exceptional patient care.
- I would dearly love to be able to expand my knowledge in all aspects of dentistry and specifically paediatric. I have a real passion for working with children, having two of my own I know it can be challenging but so rewarding.
