I am a junior sound engineer for the church. My job was to work effectively with my team and other relevant departments in order to provide the best service possible for the congregation.

• I am currently employed at a restaurant, SHIZUKU RAMEN, located in Hawthorn, Melbourne
• I was employed as a floor staff to wait tables but was eventually promoted within [ ] weeks and tasked to handle managing the night shift
• This experience has helped me refine my learnings from my previous jobs working with people and managing teams
• On top of that, I was given the liberty to develop a business acumen, mainly in problem solving, leadership and communication
• The freedom to make business decisions has allowed me to develop an analytical mind to assess and weigh the outcomes of my decision and choose what benefits not only the business but the mental and physical health of my team
• I was able to balance the strengths and weaknesses of my co-workers/team members to ensure a smooth and cohesive unit and provide good customer experience.

• For the duration of my college, I had been working part time as an editor and proof-reader for a popular online web novel
• My tasks ensured that translated work portrayed their original meaning and were grammatically sound
• During the course of my work, I had the opportunity to practice my command of the English Language as well as ensure accuracy and fluency in my translation
• This work requires thoroughness, diligence and dependability on my part
• Having monthly committed release schedules meant it was imperative for me to manage my time studying and still produce excellent work for my publisher.

• I had the privilege of working with Quantum Learning, a reputable student enrichment program based in the US where I was brought on to mentor and lead a team of students for the duration of the program
• As a team leader, my role is to impart leadership qualities to the students with the view to hone their leadership styles and to guide them in an understanding of what it takes to be great leaders
• This program and role entrusted to me, had greatly increased my experiences in several areas of team management, including but not limited to, team dynamics, conflict mediation, managing intra/interpersonal relationships, and ensuring good communication and support
• This line of work has also allowed me to experience the technical operations of running a program, including planning, contingency planning and coordinating a flow for seamless transitions between activities
• It has also been a learning experience for me in understanding how to play to my strengths and manage my weaknesses
• Although it was only a summer program, it had helped widen my horizon pertaining to human psychology and behaviour.
