Accomplishments

  • My entrepreneurial skills lead me to develop a running gait analysis product, RunDNA Australia. Combining biomechanical data, with subjective comfort to empower the runner to be guided into the right fitting running shoes. This company is still classified as a start up. But a work in progress since 2018
  • Successful negotiation with The University of South Australia Sports Science Department in Collaborate Research Together.
  • The University of South Australia: Planning and executing Biomechanical Running Data, with subjective comfort to establish the RunDNA Gait Analysis Algorithm in 2022
  • Commenced a 3D scanning study to understand the unknowns in comfort based off fit and feel. Conclusion and final report due at the end of January 2024.
  • Successfully transition our company name and location with a successful renovation in 2021. Previously traded as Joggers World for 4 decades, and success marketing campaign to bring customers to the new Sportitude Running.
  • Sportitude Renovation and fit out was rewarded with Retail Store of Year for all Australia in 2022
  • Recognised in a short list for top 50 influential people in the Retail Industry for Australia 2023 - "Inside Retail Award"
  • Resolved product issue through consumer testing.
  • As General Manager, currently overseeing 4 departments with 60 employees.

Additional Information

My Family is my everything. 4 beautiful children that spark my day and drive my passion to be the best version of myself. Running and Golf happen to be my favourite sports. Running for the purity and freedom for chasing something bigger than yourself. Golf as it sums up life beautifully, and is arguably the most challenging sport in the world. Both are accessible and there are no barriers for entry on demographics and ability.


I am a chaser. I am excited by learning, and working with people that bring the best out in me, and I in turn work towards the same goal.


On-Running Is a company that I have the ultimate respect for. The hardships early days, but the vision, passion and trust in the product and process to build a successful, and opportunistic company.
