Joshua Brooks

My long term career objective is to obtain a rewarding role in the property sector. In the interim period, I am keen to explore opportunities to broaden my knowledge of a variety of different industries and add experiences to develop my life skills. I am interested in getting my foot in the door of the property sector while finishing of my Property and Valuation degree.

• Currently a member of the Australian National Transition Squad
• 2019-current – Member of the Tasmanian Tigers Hockey One Squad
• 2020-2022 Member of the Australian National Junior Squad
• 2020 – Captain of the University Hockey Club
• 2018 - Member of the National Under 17 Australian Hockey touring team to South Africa.
• 2017 – Player of the tournament – National Under 16 Australian Championships
• 2016 and many years prior – captain and member of various junior state and club teams

• Adaptable – I have worked on a casual part-time and full-time basis while studying and have proven skills in adapting to different environments ranging from working in a warehouse and undertaking delivery and other odd jobs to supervising and coaching children. No job is too hard.
• Highly developed relationship management skills - working with customers, team leaders, or fellow staff, I have received very positive feedback about my ability to work with people and have smooth working relationships.
• Attention to detail and organisational skills - in my previous role in deliveries at Tas Isle, I had a reputation for getting it right and delivering the right products at the right time in 100% of cases.
• Responsibility - I am a trustworthy employee who takes responsibility for all my duties. I can be trusted to work unsupervised and complete the job to a high degree of accuracy and on time.
• Strong desire to do my best - evidence of this is in my sporting experience where I have made junior Australian squads and always strive to achieve.
• Strong potential for leadership - I’ve received good feedback in this regard as evidenced by my previous experience. In high school I held a leadership position and have taken on leadership roles in sport – Captain of the University Hockey Club in Hobart in 2020 and also captain of various underage state hockey teams.
