• Production on the longwall for 6 years, including maintenance and repairs to joy rs20 system, iMac system, joy AFC drives, Amp control DCBs and Eickhoff shearer
• Maintenance of longwall equipment
• Process work in longwall panel, including relocation of isolators and substations
• HV works including permits and commissioning
• Installation of 7 long walls, including all commissioning

-conduct overhauls of joy longwall machinery.

-test and repair RS20 systems

-mini build of 2x long walls, including commission of electrical systems

-complete longwall install and recovery

• Longwall installation at Integra Colliery
• Install, terminate and test high voltage and low voltage cables
• Carry out testing of motors throughout
• Assist with daily inspections and scheduled maintenance works on various electrical equipment
• Read and interpret diagrams, schematics and cable schedules
• Assist fault finding and rectifying
• Follow Glencore SafeCoal rules, complete risk assessments, hazard observations and permits to work etc

• Take 5’s, pre-starts, JHA’s, hazard observations, permit to works etc
• Follow high voltage and isolation procedures to maintain a safe work environment
