- Operate a Hitachi 8t digger with Tong attachments and a Hitachi Pozi-Track, primarily involved in civil works, including installing culverts for road crossings, placing anchor blocks to secure flowlines and constructing pads for beam pumps
- Assist the fitters with pipe work around wellheads and ensure effective 2-way radio communication when spotting vehicles, driving vehicles as per traffic management plans throughout the mine site and effectively communicating with SIMOPS
- Ensure all daily operational KPI targets are being met safely, environmentally compliant, and within the specified project timeframes
- Liaise closely with clients, management, and contractors, providing project progress updates and reports, advising of any potential delays and solutions to minimise impacts on the project
- Read, interpret, and execute works as per plans and specifications while safely using both hand and power tools, including hammers, nail guns, saws and drills
- Perform daily vehicle prestart inspections of all mobile plant and equipment checking the bucket, attachments, isolations, electrics, tyre pressure and reporting any maintenance issues
- Ensure compliance with all council safety requirements, including the correct usage of P.P.E, hazard identification and reporting, and complying with SOPs
- Maintain strict compliance with site and company OH&S policies and procedures, including JHA's, Take 5's, SOP's, Permit to Works and hazard identification and reporting
